| 首届句法语义青年论坛（Syntax and Semantics in China, SSiC)将于2012年6月16日至17日在南京大学举行。论坛热忱欢迎以下几方面的稿件：
（1）关于汉语的句法语义研究；
（2）关于汉语儿童的词汇、句法和语义发展的研究；
（3）中国境内方言的句法语义研究；
（4）中国境内少数民族语言的句法语义研究；
（5）句法语义理论研究
征稿事宜
每位作者最多可以提交独立署名摘要一份和合作署名摘要一份；
摘要不得超过两页纸（A4），中文字体不得小于5号；
请将摘要以附件的形式发送至会议的投稿邮箱：ssic2012@163.com
投稿摘要需一式两份：MS word 和PDF各一份。
审稿政策
会议拟接受不超过25位讲者做大会发言；会议摘要的选择完全基于同行匿名评审；每份摘要会指派给至少三位同行去评审；所有投稿者都会得到审阅意见。
论文一旦被接受，会议举办方将在会议期间提供免费就餐。

The First Workshop on Syntax and Semantics in China (SSiC 2012)
Call for Papers
We are very pleased to announce that the first workshop on syntax and semantics in China has been initiated and will be held at Nanjing University, from June 16 to June 17 (Saturday and Sunday) 2012. The conference aims at creating a cooperative, friendly and enlightening forum for anyone who areworking on Chinese syntax and semantics. Young scholars and other colleagues who are working on the following topics are particularly welcome:
(1) the syntax and semantics of Chinese dialects;
(2) the syntax and semantics of minority languages in China;
(3) first language acquisition (lexical, syntactic and semantic) in bilingual contexts
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Abstracts are invited for talks on any fields of syntax and semantics in China, though preference will be given to those on Chinese dialects and minority languages by young scholars. Each talk will be 30 minutes, plus a 10-minitute discussion. Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author.
Abstracts should be sent to the conference email box: ssic2012@163.com. Other methods of submission are not encouraged.
Abstracts should be no more than 2 pages (A4 size) with font size no smaller than 10 (or 5 for Chinese characters). Both PDF file and MS word file are required.
Abstracts can be written in either English or Chinese. English abstracts and presentations are preferred.
Reviewing Policy
Acceptance will be based on blind peer review. No more than 25 abstracts can be selected for presentation at the conference. Each abstract will be assigned to at least three reviewers.
All selected speakers will be provided free meals during the conference period.
